All of that is true, but is that really such a bad thing? This isn’t super spoilery imo but read at your own risk. Yeah, he’s being a dick, but I swear “‘Not my type, but handsome. I know this review is all over the place, so I’m sorry, but basically, this world and story is definitely one getting invested in and I’m really enjoying the journey I’m being taken on.
Because it totally isn’t. I gobbled it up, falling harder in love each time. All Fall Down Ally Carter.
Shadow and Bone & Siege and Storm
I loved the world building, loved of the concept of an ocean of sand surrounded by sheer darkness and filled with all the nightmares a human heart can create.
Oh and everyone fancies her. And you know what? And this somehow also thrust her back with Mal and back into the role bardufo self-deprecating, scrawny orphan. Speaking of my fickleness: School Library Journal This action-packed, suspenseful grand tale of war, adventure and love, with a stoem setting, colorful battles, and female warriors, will appeal to a broad readership and is an enticing prelude to the anticipated Book 3. I am now one-hundred percent Team Sturmhond.
I can’t help it, friends, I have a serious weakness for men who have a gift for witty banter. I’m going to burn in Hell. Well, except for that cliffhanger. It’s mainly a “training montage”like so many predecessor YA novels.
If you want a synopsis leiggh actual stor, thoughts check out my review of Shadow and Bone While reading the first book of this trilogy Shadow and Bone I was always entertained but I had a big problem getting into the world and the book and just being invested in what was happening. You may come visit, they’re always willing to play. It is fast paced, full of action, and does not really lag.
I really really liked him. I’m not reading the story and being like ‘the summary doesn’t mention this.
I really don’t get why so many people seem to hate him. Print hardcover and paperbackaudiobooke-book.

Siege and Storm
The first time I read it, Siegs was so overwhelmed by new bardygo because there are so many new ones oeigh in the first part, but when story moved on I was surprised that I didn’t have any problem remembering them. Solid writing, entertaining events, same bland ass characters only this time they whine more. I’m not even sure what Mal does for most of this book aside from standing by and being jealous of every man that Alina talks to. If Alina is to fulfill her destiny, she must discover how to unlock her gift and face up to her dangerous attraction to him.
On one hand, the pacing, beyond a bizarre turnabout involving the Darkling’s reappearance in the first chapter or two, totally worked and had me hooked the whole way through, wondering if Alina could truly beat her nemesis – it’s just that riveting. Don’t get me wrong, it did kind of pick up by the end.
