Unfortunately, it’s sequels don’t live up to it’s brilliance. The beginning was a little slow, and the characters are a little flat, but the overall book is enjoyable. But thankfully,it was a good read,so I balck ok with it!

With lots of periods. Now in my thirties, it has changed again. Dec 25, Serena W. Good for adding variety to typical magical scenarios! Anyway, I’m glad that I finally tracked blaci boo So yeah, I really liked this series. Her first short story, “Eustace,” was published inand her first novel for children The Dragon Hoard was published in The protagonist redeems herself somewhat nearing the end of the story it’s hardly her fault the writer held her back and we get a nice come full circle. This took a lot longer for me to read than its pages would imply.
You won’t regret it.
This unicorn, which once was of radiant mother of pearl hue, became of this world through majestic being and wondrous magnificence. I haven’t read Black Unicorn or its sequel. The story is interesting and has a very fairy tale feel to it, however, i feel like half of the main character’s adventure was filler and would be better suited to be a long fairy-tale or, my preference, a longer, more in depth and meaningful epic.
She was raised by her mother and discovered her father and sister in the last book. Want to Read saving…. After several years traveling, Tanaquil — a sorceress like her mother with the ability to mend — returns home only to discover that her true love has been betrothed to her sister, Empress Lizra. Tanaquil was amazed because she was the girl with no talent for magic. The author’s underestimation for dialogue and character.
This is a book that is worth the read, and will probably add variety to the typical fantasy books that are out there. This would be the downturn in a trilogy, the one where everything you thought was good and pure about the first book becomes its opposite, the one where our heroine has to do some hefty soul searching, the one where Vader tells you that he’s your father.
Seriously, did no one even look at the text before releasing? She can do amazing things with the turn of a phrase.

The plot of The Black Unicorn is in no way as simple as this description. The sentences are well-formed and fit the tone of the story. A stray blast of Jaive’s magic brings the creature to life, and it escapes to the desert, followed by Tanaquil and the peeve. When an inquisitive peeve–one of the palace pets–unearths a cache of strange, sparkling bones, Tanaquil uses them to piece together a unicorn’s skeleton.
Beautifully written and full of action. Want to Read saving…. I didn’t like this book as much as the first one.
